I have been working in Psychosocial Intervention for over 30 years.  My practice has always centered on communication and team work,  whether I am working as a clinician, a supervisor, or a teacher.  I am deeply concerned with the emotional welfare of others, and this calling has been a guiding foundation throughout my career.    

My technical training was completed at L’Université du Québec à Montréal, where I received a Professional BA in Sexology.  I also trained with the International Institute of Sexocorporel Desjardins.

Additionally, I studied specialized aspects of Crisis and Violence Intervention, as well as Group, Couples, Youth, and Family Counselling, with different organisations. I have been involved with many universities and groups, throughout the world, to teach and create events.

Although I will typically adapt my approach to the person and situation, my interventions are mainly influenced by the Humanistic school of thought.  This psychological methodology prioritizes compassion and emphasizes the goodness in human nature.  When used in the context of Professional emotional intervention, the Humanistic perspective allows a Counsellor to focus on helping clients increase their self-actualization level, and improve the quality of their life.
